Midwestern by nature, Bobby Miller was brought up in Wisconsin. He began exploring poetry at the age of 17, thanks to teachers and dedicated mentors, for whom he is forever grateful. For Bobby writing is a means to understand the experiences and landscapes happening around him. Always exploring the truth of connections, Bobby’s poetry focuses on understanding and desiring the consciousness of the locations that inspire or confound him. You can commonly find his poems at home in large wilderness settings, placing the natural against the human in new ways. Bobby now lives in St. Paul, MN, is working on a literary story map of Lake Street, Minneapolis, and will graduate spring 2013 with bachelor degrees in English and American Studies.
